    Import to Phantom

After claiming funds through ZingPay, you receive a solpay-keypair.json file. This file contains your private key. To manage your funds with a proper wallet, you can import this key into Phantom, the most popular Solana wallet.

    What is Phantom?

Phantom is a non-custodial crypto wallet available as a browser extension and mobile app. It supports Solana, Ethereum, and other chains. For ZingPay users, Phantom is the recommended way to manage your SOL after claiming.

You can download it from phantom.app.

    Step-by-step: Import your private key

    1

    Open the keypair file

Locate the solpay-keypair.json file you downloaded when you claimed your funds. Open it with any text editor. You will see a list of numbers inside square brackets, something like [43, 192, 17, ...]. This is your secret key represented as a byte array.

    2

Open Phantom and go to settings

Click the hamburger menu (three lines) in the top-left corner of Phantom. Then click on "Settings" at the bottom of the menu.

    3

    Select "Manage Accounts"

Inside Settings, find and click "Manage Accounts". This shows all wallets currently loaded in your Phantom instance.

    4

    Click "Import Private Key"

At the bottom of the Manage Accounts screen, click the "Import Private Key" button. Phantom will ask you for a name (choose anything, like "ZingPay Wallet") and your private key string.

    5

    Paste and import

Paste the Base58 private key string from step 2 into the private key field. Click "Import". Your wallet is now loaded in Phantom with the SOL balance from your ZingPay claim.

    Security reminders

Never share your private key with anyone. Not with support agents, not in Discord, not in any form. Anyone with your private key has full access to your funds. Phantom will never ask you for your private key after the initial import.

    • Delete the solpay-keypair.json file from your Downloads folder after importing. Or move it to a secure, encrypted location.
    • If you suspect your key has been compromised, transfer your funds to a new wallet immediately.
    • Consider setting up a hardware wallet (like Ledger) for long-term storage of significant amounts.
